1. Lately I have been trying to get on a good workout schedule. This weekend I managed to get a good workout in Saturday and then Sunday my friend at I went to a local yoga studio to try Hot Yoga. I have never tried hot yoga, but it is HOT. It was probably 100 degrees and humid with about 30 people crammed into a tiny room. All in all, I don't hate hot yoga, the mat gets slippery, but it is a lot slower then many regular (not hot) yoga classes I have taken before. It just feels good to start getting in shape.
2.Other then working out, I actually got things done this weekend around the apartment. In general it just makes me feel good to know I have got it together....sometimes.
3. On date night this week, we went to the mall and I had one of the best burgers ever at Zinburger it was an ooey gooey breakfast burger with cheese, bacon and a fried egg. It was almost too messy to have in a restaurant, I could have used a whole roll of paper towels. There is something about a fried egg on a burger that makes it so much better.
4. On the healthy side of things I have been trying to eat healthier breakfasts. I shared with you the delicious granola I have been making, but also I have been making myself some delicious fresh smoothies that I cannot wait to share with you. They are so sweet and delicious I want them for dessert, or its like dessert for breakfast.
5.Last night I went out for dinner with one of my good friends. Having know her for most of my life, it was nice to catch up on all different aspects of our lives, families, boyfriends and jobs. We went to The Smith and it was so delicious, we both love trying new restaurants, it is great to spend time with someone who loves going out to eat as much as I do.
